Tiffin Zephyr
The Zephyr is Tiffin's top Class A diesel coach. Tiffin calls it the flagship of its lineup in the 2024 brochure and again in its June 2026 company history. Recent Zephyrs are 45-foot tag-axle coaches on the PowerGlide chassis with a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 engine. Tiffin's online brochure library lists Zephyr brochures from 2005 to 2027, with some years missing.

About this model
Tiffin's company history says the 1990s saw the rise of some of its best-known models, including the Zephyr, Allegro Bus and Phaeton, but it does not give the first model year.
The oldest Zephyr brochure in Tiffin's online library is filed under 2005. It shows one floorplan, the 45 QDZ, just under 45 feet long with a 500-horsepower Cummins ISM engine and a tag axle.
By the 2024 model year the Zephyr was a single 45 FZ floorplan on Tiffin's PowerGlide raised-rail chassis with a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 and an Allison 4000 MH transmission. A second floorplan, the 45 PZ, appears on the 2025 specification sheet. The 2027 sheet lists a larger 175-gallon fuel tank.
