Tiffin Allegro Bus
The Allegro Bus is a Class A diesel pusher that sits just below the Zephyr on Tiffin's model list. Recent model years run from about 38 to 45 feet on the PowerGlide chassis with a 450-horsepower Cummins L9, and a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 has been offered on 45-foot floorplans. Tiffin's online brochures cover 2005 to 2027.

About this model
Tiffin's company history says the 1990s saw the rise of some of its best-known models, including the Allegro Bus, but it does not give the first model year.
The 2005 brochure, the oldest in Tiffin's online library, shows six floorplans from about 39 to 42.5 feet on a Freightliner chassis with a Cummins engine. The 2009 brochure describes seven floorplans from 36 to 43 feet with a Cummins ISL engine.
By the 2024 model year the Allegro Bus rode on Tiffin's PowerGlide raised-rail chassis with a 450-horsepower Cummins L9 as standard and a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 as an option on the 45-foot floorplans. Floorplan names changed for 2026, and the 2027 sheet lists four floorplans: 36 AP, 40 IP, 45 BP and 45 OPP.
A March 5, 2024 company post describes the Allegro Bus 45 BTP, a limited edition named for founder Bob Tiffin and limited to 82 coaches. The post gives no model year, so it has no year record here.
