Emerald H3-45

Emerald builds on the Prevost H3-45, which its site describes as the more modern-looking shell with more storage. The site says an H3-45 can have up to four slide-outs and has 505 cubic feet of storage under the floor. Emerald dates its first H3-45 conversion to 2017, and in October 2026 it listed new 2027 coaches with two and three slide-outs.

About this model

Emerald's Built on Prevost page, read in October 2026, lists the running gear that comes with the shell: a Volvo D13 engine (the page's specification table lists 500 horsepower and 1,850 lb-ft of torque, while its text says 435 horsepower), an Allison six-speed automatic transmission, independent suspension, disc brakes on every wheel with anti-lock control, and adaptive cruise control. The page does not tie these figures to a model year, so the year records below carry only what each coach page states.

The company's history page says its first H3-45 conversion came in 2017. National Bus Trader reported in June 2019 that H3-45 conversions were being added for the 2020 model year. In 2024 Emerald showed its first conversion on Prevost's newly released H3-45 at the Florida RV Supershow and built a four-slide coach for Prevost's 100th anniversary. A January 2025 company blog post describes a four-slide ("Quad Slide") coach shown at the 2025 Prevost Motorhome Expo.
