Blue Bird Wanderlodge LX
The LX was the 40-foot Wanderlodge of 1998 through 2003, which Wikipedia says was based on Blue Bird’s LTC-40 intercity coach. The Vintage Birds owners’ club lists a Cummins M11 diesel rated at 450 horsepower at first and 500 horsepower from 2001, and says every 2002 and 2003 coach had one or two slide-outs.

About this model
Vintage Birds lists the WB-40 LX for 1998 with a 450-horsepower Cummins M11. Wikipedia says the LX and LXi grew out of Blue Bird’s first intercity motorcoach, the LTC-40, and that the LX used that coach’s four halogen headlamps while the LXi had projector beams. Both had a much larger windshield than the 1997 Wanderlodge.
For 2001 the body was restyled and the M11 went from 450 to 500 horsepower. Some 2001 coaches had no slide-out and some had one; all 2002 and 2003 coaches had one or two. Wikipedia lists the LX as built from 1998 to 2003.
